Meet Shiro

My Story

Shiro was born in my college premises on 15th January 2024. His two brothers were picked by fellow students while he stayed. Being a veterinary college, we have goats and cattle and he used to hang out with them. However, one day, when he was 3 months old, the caretaker staff for goats cut off both his ears with a knife in cold blood. He went into hiding for two days and when he was found, he had maggots in his wound. I brought him to the shelter the same day and how he’s a pretty earless boy waiting for a home. He is friendly to animals of all species and sizes, although he’s a very energetic dog.
