My Story

Riya was found paralysed, with tick fever, dog bite to her spine, and a dislocated hip bone due to a vehicle hit on the busy highway a little away from my home. It was a miracle to watch a small puppy collaborating with a cow to eat some chapati on the roadside and made her way back across the highway by dragging her little injured body. A vehicle stopped short of running over her. It had to be a divine miracle. Since then in the last 40 days, Rita has shown remarkable spirit. She recovered from tick fever, no open wounds, and her hind legs are slowly gaining strength but hard to say by when. I won’t say she has been easy but she has taught me sewa and resilience. Finding her was a bit of synchronicity too. Someone told me a puppy was hurt badly and was about to die. I didn’t find the puppy and next day a couple saw her and asked me if I’d take care of her. Honestly, it sounded like it was some message and I took her in. I’ve been giving her homeopathy and she has shown marked improvement but it’s going to be a healing journey. I do believe in spirituality also and she has brought a lot of unexpected luck to my family (more on that later). I already have a 12 year old and now they compete for my time and attention. If anyone wants to meet Riya and make her a part of their clan, let me know.
