Meet Maya

My Story

Maya came under our care in 2024. She is a true fighter, having recovered from distemper on her own without any treatment, which shows her incredible strength. She was unfortunately forced to leave her territory due to threats from locals and has been in paid boarding since December 2024. Maya is a calm and independent senior dog. She minds her own business, enjoys her own corner, and isn’t bothered by other pets, making her fine in multi-pet households. She loves treats and is gentle and affectionate with humans. Due to her age and constant twitching, she has lost most of her teeth and is currently dealing with a gum infection, which will be treated soon. Other than that, she is healthy but fragile. We are looking for a rainbow home where Maya can spend her golden years surrounded by love, care, and comfort. She is an amazing girl who deserves the very best in life.
