Meet Luca

My Story

Luca was born on a construction site in Gurgaon, with 6 siblings. The work at the site, uncaring and careless workers, sharp objects, and traffic coming at breakneck speed from 4 sides pose a real danger. A kind guard and I are doing our best to keep them all safe and alive, and sometimes it feels like an uphill climb.

As compared to the rest of the pack, Luca is a little shy and is always the last to run up to me when I go to feed them. He deserves an award for being the world’s best couch potato as he loves lazing in the heat, 4 paws in the air, waiting for belly rubs! He plays beautifully with his siblings, readily shares his bowl of food, and is very curious about older dogs he sees in the park next door. He is also super smart about finding the coolest spot in the mud to escape the unrelenting heat including squeezing himself into the water bowl

Luca needs a patient family who understands that life on the streets is hard and will give him the needed time to decompress and learn what it means to be safe, loved, and have a belly full of food.

1st vaccination, deworming, and spot-on treatment done
Delightful in every possible way and everything you want in a fur baby – eyes that could melt the hardest heart, healthy, and super calm.
